I like this quote that you have posted. Your journey is a heartfelt one and a difficult one. I too am going through my own journey, but with a 9 month old from my narcissistic and abusive ex. And my anxiety kept me hanging and his deception kept me entranced and believing him. Shoot, a year later and I still fall for his deceptive ways. Sometimes, I wish I was programed that way so that I could understand where he is coming from and the actions that he takes. I pray every day that my son will not be like his father!

I can't comment on your writing on the side: BUT i so AGREE! Labeling yours and mine ex with a narcissistic personality disorder gives them too much sympathy that they dont' deserve. They do CHOSE to act the way that they do and abuse those around them. I love your writing!
